Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Crypto Bearings collects, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated: 5 July 2026
1. Who controls your data
The data controller is Star Plucker Studios AB, established in Sweden. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and authentication details when you sign up or sign in.
- Subscription and billing data: your subscription status and the customer and payment identifiers held by our payment processor. Card details are entered directly with Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.
- Usage and analytics data: basic information about how you use the site (such as pages viewed), used to understand the funnel and improve the product.
- Newsletter data: your email address, if you choose to subscribe to updates.
- Technical data: cookies and similar identifiers needed to keep you signed in and to secure the service (see §8).
3. Why we use it, and our legal bases
- To provide the service: creating your account, authenticating you, and delivering the charts you subscribe to (performance of a contract).
- To take payment: processing subscriptions and applicable taxes (performance of a contract; legal obligation for tax and accounting records).
- To secure and improve the service: analytics, fraud prevention, and debugging (our legitimate interest in a reliable, well-run product).
- To send the newsletter: only where you have opted in (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers ("processors") that run the product on our behalf, each under a data-processing agreement:
- Stripe: payment processing and tax calculation.
- Our hosting and database provider: running the application and storing account data.
- Resend: sending the newsletter and any account emails.
- PostHog: product and usage analytics, hosted in the EU.
We may also disclose data where required by law.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and subscription data for as long as your account is active. After you close it, we delete or anonymize your data, except where we must keep records to meet legal obligations, such as invoices and tax records retained for the period required by law in Sweden. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to how we process it;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the data-protection supervisory authority in Sweden or where you live.
8. Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to secure the service; these are always on. We do not store any non-essential cookies on your device: our analytics keep no cookie or local-storage identifier in your browser, and we use no advertising cookies. That is why you see no cookie banner.
9. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
