Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Crypto Bearings. By creating an account, starting a trial, or subscribing, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Crypto Bearings ("Crypto Bearings", "we", "us") is a web application operated by Star Plucker Studios AB, established in Sweden. It shows a small, curated set of cycle-risk charts that indicate where the crypto market sits within its roughly four-year cycle. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Analytics, not advice

Crypto Bearings is an information and analytics service. It is not investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. We do not act as your advisor or fiduciary and owe you no fiduciary duty. The charts describe where market data sits in the cycle; they are not trading signals, price targets, or forecasts. Nothing on the service accounts for your personal circumstances.

Crypto markets are volatile and you can lose money. Any decision you make is your own. Where you are unsure, seek advice from a licensed professional before acting.

3. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • Your account is for your personal use. Do not share access or resell it.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions, trial, and billing

The On-Chain Risk chart is free. A Pro subscription unlocks the remaining charts and the full Overall Cycle Risk reading. Pro is offered as a single tier billed monthly or annually; the current price, billing period, and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout before you confirm.

  • New Pro subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel during the trial, your subscription begins and the first payment is taken when the trial ends.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Applicable taxes (including EU VAT) are calculated and collected at checkout.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your access continues until the end of the period already paid for.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. Because the service is supplied to you immediately, at checkout you expressly request that performance begins during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.

In practice the 7-day free trial lets you evaluate the service before any payment is taken. This clause does not affect any mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer.

6. Refunds

Except where a refund is required by law (including mandatory consumer-protection rights), payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will look into it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, bulk-download, republish, or resell the data, charts, or methodology;
  • share, sublicense, or provide your account access to others;
  • reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service;
  • use the service in a way that breaks the law or infringes another party's rights.

8. Intellectual property

The site, its charts, branding, and the way each metric is presented belong to us or our licensors. The underlying metrics (such as the Puell Multiple, MVRV Z-Score, Pi Cycle Top, and Mayer Multiple) are third-party concepts we compute and document openly. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to view the charts for your own use, not to redistribute them.

9. Data accuracy and availability

The metrics are computed from third-party data sources on a best-effort basis. Some inputs may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable. We show "as of" dates where data may be stale. We do not warrant that any reading is accurate, complete, or uninterrupted, and cycle metrics may not behave as they have in past cycles.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights). Subject to that, we are not liable for any trading or investment losses, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period.

12. Changes to the service and these terms

We may update the service and these terms. When changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Sweden, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country where you live. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
